The Billboard Hot 100 during this decade has BTS at the top. With six number one songs over the previous 10 years, the South Korean band has the most number one singles.

The information was announced on the official Billboard Twitter account, which also featured mentions of other runner-ups like Drake, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift.

BTS published all of their hits over the last few years, while the announcement tracked every Billboard chart that reached the top 100 over the previous ten years. With “Savage Love,” their collaboration with Jason Derulo, BTS achieved their first Number 1 Billboard song in 2020. Following it, they released the songs “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On” the same year.

They collaborated with Coldplay on “Butter” and “Permission to Dance,” both of which spent a week at the top of the charts in 2021.

Despite their immense popularity, BTS will be taking a break soon. One of the band members, Jin, will enlist for his required military service, which is expected to last about two years.

There will be solo albums from other band members as well. According to the CEO of HYBE, the management business for BTS, V, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook will all be releasing music in the upcoming calendar year.

BTS intends to meet again in 2025.
